EMDR Psychotherapist Courses

Advanced Training for EMDR-Trained Therapists

What is EMDR Psychotherapy?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) psychotherapy is a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps people recover from trauma and distressing life experiences. Originally developed by Francine Shapiro, EMDR is grounded in the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model, which suggests that trauma can block natural processing systems and result in maladaptively stored memories.

EMDR helps individuals reprocess these memories and integrate them into adaptive memory networks—leading to symptom relief, emotional regulation, and restored resilience.
